I am a longtime staff and freelance journalist, who works as a writer, photographer and editor, and specializes in news, feature, politics, entertainment and travel.
For the past 20 years, I have also taught writing and reporting full-time at Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario, in Canada’s only specialized photojournalism program.
I research and write a weekly trivia column for The Toronto Star, as well as write news and travel stories for The Star. I am very interested in learning more about travel and travel journalism, and helping an audience see and understand the special qualities of a destination.
